Assistant Principal: Audrey Phelan

I am so honored and excited to be part of the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center. My name is Audrey Phelan and this will be the start of my 26th year in education. I grew up in Park Ridge, went to the University of Iowa and married a guy from Muscatine, IA. We have lived in Arizona, Illinois, Florida, Iowa and are now back in Illinois.  We have identical twin girls who will be sophomores at Naperville North.  We also have a Boston Terrier named Bentley and two guinea pigs named Gabe and Bojangles. I love reading, spending time with my family and enjoying all the sports as we are huge sports fans.  Go Hawkeyes!

I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa in Elementary Education. I earned my first master’s from Northern Arizona University in Special Education and my second master’s from Drake University in Educational Leadership. I spent almost all of my teaching career in Kindergarten, which I loved, and just finished 3 years as a Kindergarten Special Education Teacher. I look forward to meeting all the wonderful students, teachers, staff, and families at Ann Reid and helping to support Naperville 203’s littlest learners succeed.
