Ms. Megan Lara

After spending the last six years teaching preschool at Maplebrook Elementary School, I am excited to be back at the ARECC this year. I grew up in Bolingbrook and currently live in Romeoville with my husband and our two children, ages 4 and 1. I graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I also have my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and my Learning Behavior Specialist, English Language Learner, and bilingual teaching endorsements. I am so excited to work with our bilingual students and their families this year. I look forward to giving students and their families a positive first school experience and building the foundation for a lifelong love of learning!
