Ms. Connie Cremins

Ms. Connie Cremins

I was born in Indonesia and grew up in the middle of the jungle of Borneo. I spent most of my life in Indonesia and attended a boarding school in Malaysia during middle school and high school. My family spent a total of three years in the U.S. while I was growing up. I returned to the U.S. for college where I majored in Elementary Education. I taught second grade for 5 years both overseas and in the Chicago Public Schools. After having my first two children I got my Master’s degree in Early Childhood. Over the years I took classes in Special Education and received my ELL endorsement. For a number of years I worked as an early childhood consultant with the Chicago Archdiocese. I went back to full time teaching in Lemont a few years ago. I was very excited to get a job at Ann Reid the year it opened. I love that my job is a new adventure each day and I am honored to be a part of the lives of so many wonderful children and their families! My husband and I have four children, between the ages of 11 and 20. Some of my favorite things to do are baking, reading, watching movies and going for walks.
